We invite you to join us for the Foundation's annual Yellow & Black Tie Gala scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel. This year the Gala presents "A Harvest of Hope." We are honored to have Richardson Mayor Gary Slagel and his wife Pat as honorary chairs, cancer survivor Lee Nagel as Gala chair, and Gary Cogill of WFAA-TV as master of ceremonies.
This event historically attracts more than 500 prominent business and civic leaders from Collin and Dallas counties and includes a seated dinner, live entertainment, as well as live and silent auctions. Proceeds from the Gala will support the Methodist Richardson Cancer Center, which is affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center. The cancer center offers an array of diagnostic equipment, new drug therapies as part of clinical research programs and numerous treatment options. Patients in North Texas can receive comprehensive treatment close to home. By supporting the 2010 Gala, you will contribute to the enhancement of cancer treatment programs, services and technology.

Super Bowl Raffle
The Yellow & Black Tie Gala is raffling off a trip to the 2011 Super Bowl in Dallas. Tickets are $100 each. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held at the conclusion of 2010 Gala and you do not have to be present to win.
The Super Bowl package includes two tickets to the 2011 Super Bowl in Arlington, Texas, two-night stay in a suite at Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel, all meals, and luxury transportation to and from the game.

Kick-Off Party
Our kick-off party held on May 27 at the Cancer Center was a huge hit. Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support. And a special thanks to Fallas Landscaping for donating daisies to give to our guests. Together we are growing "A Harvest of Hope" in our community as we fight cancer.
