A new 50,000-square-foot building is planned to provide enhanced care for North Texas, offering multiple cancer specialists in one location, convenient access to clinical research, preventive and integrative therapies, and advanced technology. 2008 Yellow and Black Tie Gala
Mark your calendars for the 2008 Richardson Medical Center Foundation fundraising gala on Saturday, November 1. WildRide! Against Cancer
The 5th annual WildRide! bike rally on May 17, 2008, held in conjunction with the annual WildFlower! Arts and Music Festival, was a huge success on all fronts. The event attracted more than 2,000 cyclists from across North Texas and raised more than $110,000 benefiting the Lance Armstrong Shaped Beam Surgery™ Program at Richardson Regional Cancer Center, an affiliate of UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Programs
In addition to annual campaigns, capital building campaigns and special projects/programs, the Foundation raises funds through honorariums, memorials, the Grateful Patient Program and special events – a gala dinner every fall and the annual WildRide! Bike Rally in the spring. The Foundation also seeks funding and grant support from charitable foundations of all types, corporations, area community organizations, and individuals.
